I have this short story to share about a native man from a remote village situated in the mountainous areas who once traveled down the city seeking better opportunity and to discover new things. Upon his way to the city he passed by the sea, and the man was extremely amazed with the large body of water flowing back and forth at the seashore. Then, he stopped the bus to come for a closer look, and when he finally reached the shore he began saying ignorantly,"WOW! Is this the kind of water the city has? The water is alive and it comes and go....comes and go!"
The man took a water container from his bag and filled it with some sea waters. "My villagers must see this amazing water from the city that has life and it comes and go, comes and go!"So, he headed back into the mountain excitedly, to show his tribe of what he had got and discovered from the city. Upon his way back home he took a nap for such a long travel! He gathered all the villagers for them to witness such a wonderful thing.
He told them about the water that he thought it was alive and moving back and forth. He took a basin and finally poured on the water. What surprises him and everybody is that the water is not moving like the way he used to tell them. He thought that something went wrong. He smelled the water and tasted it and suddenly saying,"Aha! somebody put some salt in the water that caused him to die and not to come and go, come and go any more!.....LOLz
The power of knowledge was acquired from difficult and complicated experiences, but some are otherwise came from good and sometimes with ridiculous origins! The true essence of the story emphasizes the value of education to unfold the natural wonder and the new world of technology!
